I’m Robert Hunnicutt. I like projects that begin with an ordinary frustration or a suspiciously attractive question.
Sometimes that produces a living tool, like bobby.menu, my public restaurant map and curation system. Sometimes it produces a carefully tested “no,” like Hive Mind Trader, a read-only prediction-market research project whose original consensus hypothesis did not survive its backtest.
The common thread is attention: define the claim, make the hidden decisions visible, build enough to learn something real, and preserve what changed my mind.
This site is my editorial commonplace. It holds durable project stories, essays about systems and tools, field notes from active work, and annotated shelves of things worth keeping within reach. It is intentionally broader than a portfolio and more selective than an activity feed.
AI assistants are part of how I work. I use them for exploration, implementation, debugging, adversarial review, and editing. I try to describe that contribution plainly on the work itself. The judgment, verification, and decision to publish remain mine.
